The new cross-device AI helper from Lenovo
Qira, a system-level AI helper created to track users between Lenovo PCs and Motorola phones for "Personal Ambient Intelligence" with context across devices, was just unveiled by Lenovo at CES 2026.

The specifics:

Qira's technology integrates Notion and Perplexity, Stability AI for picture production, and Microsoft and OAI cloud models.

By default, the assistant operates in the background, monitoring users' activity to present pertinent files and recommendations when you switch devices in the middle of a task.

Daily features include proactive activities, catch-up recaps, live meeting notes with translation, and message composition in the user's preferred style.

This quarter, some Lenovo PCs will receive Qira; later in 2026, Motorola phones and a special keyboard key will be released.

Since Lenovo ships more PCs than any other company in the world, millions of machines will soon come pre-installed with Qira. Most AI businesses would kill for that kind of built-in distribution, but it's reasonable to wonder if anyone is looking for another special helper in a crowded field.
