YouTube launches new AI tools for content producers.

Google's Veo 3 Fast model, which can produce 480p films with corresponding audio from text prompts, is available for free to shorts producers. Lip sync technology, which animates speakers' mouths to match translated sounds in 20 languages, is an extension of auto dubbing. Now, YouTube's AI automatically turns interesting parts of long-form videos into vertical shorts, assisting content creators and podcasters in repurposing their work. Ask Studio is an analytics chatbot that responds to inquiries about performance and makes recommendations for data-driven channel optimization tactics. AI-powered editing transforms unprocessed video into polished first drafts by incorporating voiceovers, music, and transitions. Evidently, artificial intelligence (AI) techniques have greatly accelerated the creation of video, and YouTube has been fast to make the technology available to its millions of creators.
